Data Center Services
* Is your data center “healthy” enough to bring in new technology?
* Are you under-cooled, over-cooled, or just right?
* Do you have enough available power to handle growth plans?
* What is causing hot spots and how can they be cured?
We address these issues and many others. A data center walkthrough and in depth interviews with key IT and facilities staff to allow Imprint to provide a Scope of Work that is tailored to each client’s individual needs. The Scope of Work contains a detailed diagnosis of existing data center conditions, as well as capacity planning details, facilities utilization/health, security policies, monitoring, power, and cabling infrastructure. The Scope of work is presented to the customer ensuring all aspects of the project including customer responsibilities, pricing, staffing, and project time lines are understood, accepted and realistic. Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) studies and/or detailed Asset Lists can be incorporated into Data Center Health Check

Poorly designed power and environmental facilities can have a major impact on the day-to-day operation and overall life expectancy of your data center's physical infrastructure. With an Assessment Service you get an analysis of your current power and cooling capacity and utilization. You also get recommendations to optimize your current infrastructure and to plan for future growth or consolidation. An optimized design increases performance, extends the life of your hardware, and ensures a higher level of network availability. Our Professional Services Consultants work to fully understand your business requirements. Once on site, they collect the necessary data and use the data to write a customized report tailored for your requirements. Whether you have wiring closets or a large data center, use an assessment service to position you for change that meets your business requirements.

Imprint's CFD study reduces the burden and provides detailed thermal modeling information of the airflow and temperature patterns that exist within a customer's environment. Each CFD is modified and remodeled a number of times to insure that the best possible recommendations are given. A CFD allows you to see the value of recommended solutions prior to implementation. CFDs utilize much of the information obtained with a Data Center Health Check however, it can be done as a stand alone procedure. * Thermal Load Calculations * Conditioned Air Delivery and Capacity * Under Floor Air-Flow Analysis * Above Floor Air-Flow Analysis * By-Pass Airflow Analysis * Data Center layout and Design |

In the ever changing data center environment it is critical to know exactly what equipment is being implemented and where. With a detailed Asset List you can track and maintain all of your equipment in an organized and complete manner. The asset list provides detailed information on each device such as power draw, BTU output, serial number, date commissioned, and much more. This service is available in conjunction with Data Center Health Check and/or CFD, or as a stand-alone service.
